Mischief and Mysteries in Moomin Valley

For those who will be away during half term, you will be glad to know that there is an amazing children show taking place before the holiday. Join us on an unforgettable journey to Moomin Valley with magical puppetry, an ingenious set, original music and interactive play. Expect snow, surprises and plenty of Moomin mischief. Jay Foreman’s Disgusting Songs for Revolting Children

An award-winning musical comedian whose songs have been heard on BBC R4, The One Show, London Live TV and Dave Gorman’s UK/Ireland tour. Jay provides a devilishly cheeky hour of songs, poems and comedy in this family-friendly show which regularly sells out its entire run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Lego Cupcake Decorating

Come and have fun making Lego pieces out of icing in different colours. Decorate and ice cupcakes to take home in a box.
Drop-in-Day: Toy Story – Museum of Farnham

Come and join us for a fun-filled art and craft session inspired by toys old and new. All materials included. Children must be accompanied by one adult. Please note that this is a popular session, space is limited and you may have to wait if the Garden Gallery is full.
film maltings: The Greatest Showman

film maltings: Early Man

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of how plucky caveman Dug (Eddie Redmayne), along with sidekick Hognob, unites his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to beat them at their own game.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic – Museum of Farnham
12pm | Free, donations welcome
Bring your favourite teddy and join us for an action packed lunchtime. Take part in a teddy bear treasure hunt, teddy bear craft activities and explore the Museum’s collection of bears. An ideal event for all the family, which will take place in our beautiful walled garden. All materials for activities included, please bring your own lunch and a picnic blanket. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children’s Screen Printing
3:30pm | £25 | For ages 6 – 12 – Tickets
Learn the technique for screen printing and have the opportunity to create independent designs that you can print onto an old t-shirt, pillow case etc. There will be activities throughout the workshop to inspire children and encourage confidence to gain a new skill and try something new. Suitable for beginners.

Wind in the Willows

From the peaceful river bank to the Wild Wood, join Mole and Ratty on their marvellous adventures, along with Badger and Toad. A beautiful new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s much-loved classic, featuring handmade puppets, props and costume, with a charming original score.

maltings monthly market
9am – 4pm | £1; members, Instagram followers and under 15s free
Fun for all the family at the maltings monthly market. More than 200 stalls with everything from artisan bread, homemade sweet treats, chic vintage to local designers.
Sunday 03 June
Dance in the Meadow Performance
1pm – 5pm | Free
Dance in the Meadow is back for a second year bringing Gostrey Meadow to life with an exciting and entertaining programme of dance performed by local and borough-wide groups with special guest performances by New Adventures and Stopgap Dance Company. Plus there will be opportunities to have a go yourself in the pop up dance workshops! This free dance event is a perfect way to spend a summer day.
