Build confidence in playing with colour in knitting and developing a personal colour palette. Make a swatch, based on simple geometric shapes, designed to explore different approaches to working with colour. The pattern for the swatch can be used after the workshop to make a cowl, scarf, cushion, or bag. The tutor will bring lots of projects to show different ways of working with colour, as well as completed swatches to explore the impact of different colour strategies. There will be a free pattern for a cowl, which is based on the swatches.

Yarn will be provided

You will need to bring: Circular or double pointed needles, suitable for colour work with fingering weight yarn, typically 3 or 3.5mm
