Julie will teach you how to choose the right yarn, swatch purposefully, and shape skilfully, so the ideas in your mind can become garments and accessories on your body. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the technical aspects of designing and give you tips to develop your creative ideas, so your knitting journey can become an even more rewarding adventure!
Notes, any additional info, what do people need to bring? Fingering or DK weight yarn and appropriate circular needles for swatching purposes; plus basic knitting tools. No homework.

Julie Dubreux is a French knitwear designer and knitting instructor. Her enthusiastic love for the knitting community translates into colourful collaborations with indie dyers from all around the world. Her designs have been published in Pom Pom Quarterly. Julie is a very out-going, dynamic instructor.
Her past experience as a high-school teacher allows her to handle larger groups and to manage groups of knitters with different levels of ability so that no one feels left out, and everyone actually gets to learn something new.
