Hardanger embroidery originated from the Nowegian country of Hardanger. It consists of latticed openwork stitches and surfaces embroidery in dense satin stitch worked, usually in white threads, on evenweave fabric, originally 22 count. In this workshop we will learn the basic stitches and go home with a worked heart shape which can be mounted in a card.
