Matthew Bourne’s internationally renowned dance company New Adventures are hosting a Tea Dance where we will learn a variety of authentic dance styles from the Second World War. The Tea Dance will be led by Jenny Thomas who has worked on Strictly Come Dancing and is one of the world’s top specialists in Swing, Lindy Hop and Charleston.
Tickets include tea, coffee, scones and cakes.
This event is open to everyone.
At the Tea Dance, you’ll also have chance to find out more about My Shout, a new project being run by Farnham Maltings which features the opportunity for you to create a new piece of dance to celebrate age and challenge ageism. Taking inspiration from Matthew Bourne’s Cinderella and working with New Adventures & Re:Bourne, My Shout is open to anyone aged 55+*. Sign up here to find out more.
