Family movement workshop with New Adventures 11am–12pm
New Adventures returns to Spark to deliver a fantastic dance adventure for children and their families. Come and step into the world of the iconic Swan Lake and enjoy storytelling together. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Family Drumming 1–2pm ages 5–10yrs plus parents/carers and families
Have fun with a hand drum, learn simple rhythms and free style jam. You will sing some familiar songs while drumming and learn some new ones. A fun and inclusive workshop for children and their parents/carers.
Drama Workshop 1–2pm (5–10yrs)
Creative, energetic and fun workshop where children will take part in drama games and improvisation while developing acting skills.
Shibori and Indigo dyeing 12–1pm (5–10yrs) Please note this workshop is now FULL. Contact Emma if you would like to join the waiting list.
Come and create your own unique design on a cotton bag using Shibori/Tie dye shaping and manipulation techniques. Once you’ve wrapped, pleated, bound and knotted your plain bag you will dunk it into an indigo dye bath. Finished bags will be rinsed and popped into a plastic bag for you to take home.
