Several people wade through the River Wey while installing a woven support structure.

Rivers are our nature super highways and Farnham is lucky enough to have the River Wey running through the heart of the Town.

With the looming climate crisis our river wildlife is starting to feel the heat and our towns are coming under an ever increasing risk of flooding. It doesn’t however have to be this way and new approaches to land management can create resilient rivers that are good for both people and wildlife. This talk will take a closer look at the issues and opportunities along the River Wey in Farnham and how we can all come together to protect this vital resource.
