Movement Mornings will start on Thu 11 May and run for 12 weeks. Classes need to be booked in advance. You can book a single session or block of sessions. Bookings can be made by calling our box office, via email or in person.

A weekly movement class for people looking to improve balance and confidence on their feet.
Movement Mornings will be led by a qualified Otago instructor. They will guide you through a series of gentle seated and standing exercises, designed to increase your muscle strength and stability. The one-hour classes are followed by refreshments.
Is ‘Movement Mornings’ suitable for me?
The Otago exercise programme followed in this class is designed for those who want to regain or improve confidence in walking, standing, and raising from a seated position unaided. We ask everyone to complete a basic health questionnaire.
What do I need to wear?
You’ll need clothing you feel comfortable in and flat shoes.
Refreshments are included. Carers are welcome to attend. It’s a great opportunity to chat to our friendly facilitator and your classmates over a cuppa!
