A weekly creative group open to anyone who is looking for friendly company or wants to meet other people over an ever changing range of artistic activities.

Summer 2018 programme:

03-May        Dance: dance into Spring with movement inspired by May Day, with Whiligig Dance (wear comfortable clothes and shoes for some relaxing dancing)

10-May        Music: singing and starting songwriting, with Amanda Shaw (no need to bring anything; no singing experience required!)

17-May        Drama: looking at dynamic movement with text: part 1, with Nicky Norton (no need to bring anything; no acting experience required!)

24-May        Drama: looking at dynamic movement with text: part 2, with Nicky Norton (no need to have attended part 1)

31-May        Craft: collograph printing greetings cards, with Hilary Bishop

07-Jun         Hand crochet: a scarf with super chunky wool, with Barbara Touati-Evans

14-Jun         Creative writing: telling the body, with Joanna Barnard

21-Jun         Creative writing: changing times, with Joanna Barnard

28-Jun         Sewing: fabric corsage decoration, with Tina Proctor

05-Jul          Photography: make a summer photogram, with Angela Walker (bring an interesting object to take a unique image)

12-Jul          Papercraft: decoupage a small photo frame, with Tina Proctor

19-Jul          Mindfulness: creativity and meditation, with Barbara Touati-Evans

26-Jul          Weaving: lavender favours for summer, with Caryl Griffith

Meet Me at the Maltings is open to anyone; we’re especially passionate about providing a stimulating and safe home for elders and for those who are lonely or socially isolated.
