Join Nicki, James and twelve other professional musicians as they take you on the world famous, musical adventure that is 'Peter and the Wolf'.

Prokofiev’s timeless tale of a brave young boy’s encounters with various woodland creatures, each represented by one of our superstar soloists and their special musical instrument, is the perfect way to introduce children to the orchestra. We’ll have all the usual KSS fun and games, followed by the grand performance, with a chance to get up close to the instruments and be involved in the music making.

Their brilliant bunch of soloists include members of The London Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC Concert Orchestra, musicians from West End pit bands such as Matilda, Cabaret and Frozen, a soloist signed to Sony Music and an oboist who’s so talented, he’s even able to make a beautiful sound when blowing into a carrot… What more could anyone want for a Sunday morning?

"Our whole family have adored Kids Symphonic Sundays with each session being a highlight in our family diary. Nicki and James effortlessly balance a relaxed and fun-filled musical experience that is not only perfectly accessible to children but a real treat to attend as a parent. Our boys (ages 6 and 4 years) have learnt so much and love the opportunity to get 'hands on', be it trying out a new instrument or having a chance to conduct. As both a parent and an Early Years Practitioner I can’t recommend KSS enough!"
