Inventor, engineer and photographer, John Henry Knight, was inspired by a visit to the Great Exhibition in 1851. He went on to create a wide range of mechanical devices, including his most famous petrol driven car in 1895. Not only was Knight a pioneer in the building of motor cars, he also had a fascination with photography. This exhibition will use the opportunity of the anniversary of Knight’s death to celebrate his work.
