Learn and apply the techniques of needle turn appliqué to create a beautiful floral block. This can be used either as a decorative wall piece, be repeated to create a cushion, or can be used to create a quilt. Some fabric will be provided.

Tutor name: Yasmeen Kreebani Branton
Yasmeen is a hand appliqué designer and through her business, Sand & Stars, designs patterns for the modern home, magazines and runs workshops. Having gained a Foundation Degree in Hand Embroidery at The Royal School of Needlework she went on to work within various costume departments as a hand embroidery assistant for the film, tv and the fashion industry, most notably working on the quilt in The BFG. She discovered the art of hand applique and instantly fell in love with the process. Yasmeen hopes to provide beautiful patterns for people to learn the art of hand appliqué and to enjoy the process of slow stitching.

Please note that the tutor reserves the right to cancel any workshop if the minimum ticket sales are not met.
