Workshop Description:
Learn the process of heat transfer and personalise a tote bag to take home. You will use heat transfer inksto make marks and patterns which can be layered with the flat colour of sublimation papers. Combine colours and shapes in an abstract way, or paint a representational design in reverse.

Tutor: Helen Locke
Helen is a local artist with a passion is for drawing, colour and print. She is a trained illustrator who enjoys teaching community workshops focusing on expressive mark making onto paper and fabric.
Helen was Artist in Residence at Ochre Print Studio in Guildford during 2018 and led the Big Draw in Farnham in 2020.
