Fancy trying machine sewn patchwork but don’t know where to start?
Bring some old cotton shirts to upcycle and spend a day exploring simple patchwork with Alice and Ginny; try log cabin, pinwheels or even simple squares. You will learn useful patchwork techniques and be guided in designing and making your own cushion cover. There will be an opportunity to quilt your creation too using free motion or hand stitching.
Please bring a minimum of two cotton shirts to upcycle, and a rotary cutter. An embroidery foot and ¼” quilting foot would be useful. Your sewing machines should be in good working order or you can reserve one at booking
For more info go to www.aliceandginny.co.uk or call Alice on 07976 892766.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any workshops if the minimum ticket sales are not met.
