• Start: Friday 12 April - 18:00

Farnham Beerex has been running for forty-three years in the same location: Farnham Maltings. 2019 will be the 43rd annual Beer Festival run by the three original groups that came together for the first festival: The Lions Club of Farnham, CAMRA (The Campaign for Real Ale) and Farnham Maltings.

The entire event is run by volunteers and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

The 2019 dates are Thursday 11, Friday 12 and Saturday 13 April. On each of the three days there is an evening session that starts at 6pm and ends at 11pm. On the Saturday there is an additional lunchtime session that starts at 11am and ends at 3pm.

We have different live bands playing at each session, and the entry ticket entitles the holder to entry, the entertainment, a commemorative glass and a programme.

Beer is purchased by buying tokens that are then exchanged for any one of the beers, ciders or perries around the three halls. Typically there are about 60-70 different beers and ales, and about fifty barrels of cider and perry. Beer is substantially cheaper than you will find in normal pubs in the area.

Tickets go on sale at Farnham Maltings on Sunday 10 February from 8am to 9am or while stocks last. Should any tickets remain after this time, they will be available from the Farnham Lions website or the Farnham Maltings Box Office from Monday 11 February.
