Take part in an experimental screen printing workshop with Nicole Line. Those attending the workshop will be guided through each stage of the process through a series of demonstrations, and everyone will have access to a wide range of samples to observe and materials to use. There will be several activities throughout the workshop to encourage confidence using the materials, objects. We will be mainly focusing on abstract shapes.
Towards the end of each workshop, everyone will have the opportunity to apply knowledge gained by working collaboratively with others in the group or independently on their own projects. These workshops are a chance to gain an experience and try something new, and all work created can go towards personal projects. You are also encouraged to take a look at home for anything you could up-cycle and transform through print. Please bring up to 4 items to print onto, please avoid dark colours.
If you have time and the materials to do so, have a go at making your own stencils at home so that you can spend more time printing. I recommend you use thin acetate sheets to make the stencils, keep it simple and keep it A3 size and under. Avoid making stencils from thin paper.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the workshop if minimum ticket sales are not met.
