Aaron Simmonds: Baby Steps (Work in Progress)
Aaron has been doing stand-up comedy without standing up for eight years now, and it's time for that to change! So, he's attempting to do something he's never done before... stand-up comedy, standing up.
As seen on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Guessable (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV).
"A superb storyteller... it is easy to see why he is an award winner"The Scotsman
Joshua Robertson: Enable Me (Work in Progress)
Enable Me explores alternative lifestyles with light-hearted jokes about how Joshua deals with the ups and downs of fatherhood, family life and the solution to cheating on your partner when you're disabled.
Drawn from his experiences, he sheds a unique light on daily life through a once able bodied person’s eyes. Joshua started performing stand-up comedy at 19 and has performed shows at the Brighton Fringe, Camden Fringe and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He has also been a support act for Tom Stade and Shappi Khorsandi.
Joshua featured in the BBC Three series Amazing Humans and the All4 series Jokes Only Disabled People Can Tell. Dad Joke, a comedy short film which Joshua co-wrote with David Abramsky and stars in, was commissioned by the BFI Network and Film London. It premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.
