Have fun and get creative printing with Indian blocks. Julie will demonstrate the art of block printing and then you can have a go on some practice material before creating your own item.

The Workshops will be structured as follows:

• A welcome from Julie with a brief introduction about how she learnt the art of Indian block printing.
• A demonstration of how to use the Indian blocks.
• Inspiration time for participants to plan how they would like to print their item along with practice time using the Indian blocks to print a sample piece.
• Production time to hand print their item, individually guided by Julie.

The aim of the workshop is to provide each participant with the knowledge and confidence to tackle other Indian block printing projects. Along with an opportunity to have fun and meet like-minded people.

All materials are provided including - paint, a comprehensive range of blocks, a blank item as described above and all other associated materials.

Choose from one of the following items.

●Shopping Bag
●Square Scarf (1m sq)
●Fabric Runner (140cm by 50cm)

If you are super speedy, additional materials are available to purchase if required.
