We offer a huge variety of children’s workshops to help develop their artistic and theatrical interests.

Learn how to screen print your unique design onto your own bag or t-shirt on the Children’s Screen Printing and the Children’s Metallic Printing workshops.  Click! Get the Picture is a fun workshop where children aged 8-16 can learn more about their camera while having fun solving clues and taking great shots around the Farnham Maltings building.  Using light sensitive paper, children can experiment using sunlight to make amazing pictures of objects, leaves, flowers and shapes in the Summer Photogram Fun workshop.  For children who love to bake, the Holiday Cupcakes workshop is a lovely opportunity for them to make beach-themed cupcakes.

The Technical Youth Theatre workshop for young people aged 14-19 is a great way to learn the basic technical skills of theatre production including lighting, sound and stage management.  The Children’s Yoga/Art workshop is a fresh approach to children’s yoga, aimed for children aged 7-12.  Leg-It Boys Dance Residency led by the dynamic James Finnemore, is a 4-day workshop aimed for boys aged 10-16 who have a passion for dancing.

The Museum of Farnham is also hosting a number of fun activities for children over the summer including the Young Archaeologists Club and Crafternoons.
