The Consortium is a long-established group of professional contemporary artists from the borders of Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. They have exhibited regularly for many years across the area and their work is very varied in style and media – including painting, collage, sculpting, printmaking, photography and ceramics. The work exhibited here includes figurative and abstract pieces by members Sally Northwood, Tessa Christie, Rosemary Miller, Graham Mollart, Kim Cody, Sue Ogilvy, Maureen Banfield Hamlin, Ronnie Ireland and Anna Shutt.
Borderlands Artists’ Consortium are a group of professional artists who support each other in their professional development through discussion about their work and art-related talks and outings. They also look to promote contemporary art within their regions through regular exhibitions, including in Farnham, Basingstoke, Winchester, Guildford and Haslemere. Most of the artists exhibiting have attended art school and have a range of professional expertise in related fields and industries, many also teach and tutor art workshops. Several of the artists also welcome visitors and exhibit during the annual Open Studios events
