Farnham Maltings has a rich heritage of supporting new music and hosting big all singing, all dancing nights in the Great Hall. In a few weeks, the building will play host to a wide variety of artists and genres over one weekend. If you were blown away by the music of La La Land, why not indulge further in an afternoon of spectacular musical numbers.

Award-winning singer Robert Habermann tells the story and sings the songs from the magical MGM musicals – from humble beginnings with the talkies in 1929 to their unique celebration in the 1974 compilation film That’s Entertainment! 

A perfect afternoon event to bring all generations to and enjoy some fantastic musical classics including Over The Rainbow, Show Business and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, live in our Great Hall.

An extraordinary vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Richard Navarro produces evocative and uplifting songs which take the folk traditions of melody and storytelling and supercharge them through live looping and improvisation.

Recently described as “staggeringly talented” by the BRIT/Mercury Award-winning producer Charlie Andrew, his Great Hall show will feature a chorus of singers local to the Farnham area.
