Monday 7.00am – 9.00am
Tuesday 9.00am – 11.00am

Bar & Catering Assistants (casual), £7.21 p/h (under 25), £7.70 p/h (over 25)

We have several vacancies for casual catering staff to work shifts according to the needs of the venue.  Previous café or bar experience would be beneficial but full training will be given to successful applicants. This is a customer facing role, so if you have a passion for customer service, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic, this is the position for you.  In addition to salary we offer staff discount and other perks. Box Office Assistant (Casual)

A part-time Box Office Assistant is required to provide cover on an ad hoc basis with no guaranteed hours. This position will be suitable for someone who is confident, has a good telephone manner and experience of delivering a high standard of customer service. Full training will be given.

We are seeking a Duty Officer to work on a casual basis, to support the Duty Team during busy periods and to provide absence cover.  The Duty Officer is instrumental in providing hirer’s requests; room set up and break down and being the first to attend to radio calls for all events at Farnham Maltings.  This is a practical role and requires quick thinking and an approachable nature.

My Shout is a new project to challenge stereotypes of ageing. We are seeking to commission a theatre maker (an individual or small group) to work with a newly-formed group of elders to workshop, devise, develop and create a new performance for a youth audience.

We are looking for craft makers that can demonstrate their ability to work on bold, considered ideas with communities.

Voluntary Position of Treasurer

Farnham Maltings and the Museum of Farnham

We are seeking a dynamic individual, who has a passionate interest in Farnham, its communities and the arts. The position would require attendance at four quarterly Board meetings, Finance and Resources Committee and the AGM.  Also, to be available on an ad hoc basis to advise our Finance Manager.

The Board consists of a wide range of professionals who challenge, monitor and direct the CEO.

The Maltings is in receipt of major funding for innovative theatre and art projects, in addition to generating funds from its own resources.
