Keila Ann Wescombe is a freelance illustrator and painter working in Surrey, UK. Her enigmatic work indicates a fascination for the domestic and the obscure, generally inspired by literature and cinema. Her work also reflects her interest in poetry, politics and social history.

A recently completed painting depicts a scene from Stephenson’s ‘The Diamond Age’ which has particular relevance to today’s political issues. She is in the process of working on a scene from Bulgakov’s ‘The Master and Margarita’ and writing and illustrating a series of books for children.
